What to Expect
Momentum Roundtables bring together a small group of ambitious business owners in the South West for half a day each month to step away from the day-to-day and think about their businesses.
Owners from non-competing businesses sit round one table and work through a structured growth process. They bring real opportunities, challenges and decisions to the group, benefit from the experience and perspective of their peers, and leave with clear commitments for the month ahead.
This isn’t networking. And it isn’t a talking shop.
It is a working Boardroom designed to turn thinking into better decisions, and better decisions into measurable business results.
Momentum Roundtables are organised by Momentum Works and led by experienced facilitators who know how to challenge thinking, keep conversations focused and turn ideas into action.
Our first pilot Roundtable launches on 19th November with a small number of local business owners invited to participate and help shape the programme through honest feedback.

The Roundtable is led by experienced facilitators whose job isn’t to give you all the answers.
It’s to ask the questions that uncover them.
Each session has a working topic and a clear structure, while allowing the group to concentrate on the live business issues that matter most.
The facilitators make sure conversations go beyond interesting discussion and lead to decisions, commitments and action.

What’s discussed around the table stays around the table.
That creates an environment in which business owners can talk candidly about their ambitions, mistakes, opportunities and difficult decisions without needing to impress anyone.
Why have we started this ?
Most business owners are surrounded by advice. New frameworks, podcasts, playbooks and well-meant opinions all point in different directions. The more that arrives, the harder it becomes to choose, and the easier it is to keep researching instead of acting. More information rarely breaks that cycle. Better questions usually do.
Who are we ?
Giles Brown has spent his career across sales and marketing in events, data and media intelligence. Through Momentum Works, he supports SMEs with positioning, partnerships and commercial focus. Countless conversations with business and product owners over the years showed him a common pattern: plenty of ideas, too much advice, and too little time to decide. The Momentum Roundtables are the answer to this, built on a simple belief that better conversations beat more activity.
Susann Ribeck has spent much of her working life helping people discover what they are capable of. For over 27 years she has coached people from many different backgrounds, both in the UK and internationally. But her experience hasn't only been in coaching. She ran keep-fit classes for 25 years, created a deli and café from scratch and ran it for 15 years before selling it, and owned a restaurant for four years. She knows what it is like to have an idea, take a risk, build something, work with people and deal with the inevitable ups and downs along the way.
At Momentum Works, Susann brings that experience together with what she does best: listening, asking the questions that matter and helping people see that more may be possible than they currently imagine.
